Cancellations, Faulty and Unwanted Items
==================================
Problems are unusual when dealing with us, however if for whatever reason you need to return an item, we are more than happy to offer a full refund or exchange providing the item/s are complete, in their original packaging, unmarked and it is within 30 days of the delivery date. This is as per the distance selling regulations. Please note that 'personalised' items (e.g. radios that have been programmed) and business to business transactions are excluded from this policy. Where equipment is damaged, marked/soiled or not elegible for a refund, but still returned to us, then a carriage charge of £9 + VAT would apply for return of the items.

Items returned within 30 are elegible for a refund, provided that they are in their original packaging, unmarked (subject to reasonable use for the purposes of assessment) and it is within 30 days of the delivery date. The right to a refund after the statutory 30 day period is at our discretion and does exclude certain items. Please contact us for details. Where refunds are offered then we may, at our discretion, charge a restocking free - this is normally 15% of the total order value, or £9 + VAT (whichever is least). The restocking fee may also apply to personalised items, or business to business transactions, inside the 30 day rule.

We reserve the right to refuse any refunds on 'personalised' equipment, special order items, business-business orders - or where the equipment is not in a re-sellable condition. Where equipment is damaged, marked/soiled or not elegible for a refund, but still returned to us, then a carriage charge of £9 + VAT would apply for return of the items to the customer/buyer.

As per the distance selling regulations; customers are expected to take reasonable care of the goods throughout the cancellation period. This includes retaining all packaging and literature, not removing hygiene seals and using the items only to the degree that is considered reasonable in order to assess the item(s). Items excessively used, or used beyond what we consider reasonable usage (for the purposes of assessment and testing) will not be considered for refund.

Items must be returned with any 'gifts', promotions, coupons or other items that formed part of the original contract of sale. Where these items have already been used/disposed of/redeemed then we reserve the right to deduct the equivalent value from any refund amount.

Items sold on this website are sold on the basis of being used for their advertised/intended purpose. Items that develop faults as a direct result of being used within an environment other than their intended purpose may be considered damaged and therefore not covered under a specific manufacturers warranty. Examples may include commercial use of a leisure/consumer product, outdoor use of a non-IP related product, or repeated use of a disposable item.

Loss, accidental damage, heat damage, over voltage, wear and tear, liquid damage, condensation damage and foreign body damage are not covered under any warranty - unless the conditions to which the equipment is subjected can be considered reasonable under the basis in which the product was sold or advertised.

All faulty items are replaced under the manufacturers guarantee or warranty. Items reported to be faulty are checked on-site by our engineers, or sent back to the manufacturer, prior to replacements being sent. We aim to process all faulty item returns within 7 days. Where items are found to be not faulty then a return carriage charge of £9 + VAT would apply, for return of the items.

Range, battery life and durability descriptions/statements contained in this site are all based on manufacturers guidelines, based on perfect operating conditions, and are provided as a guide only.

In all cases it is the customers responsibility to return faulty or unwanted items to us safely, the cost and means of which is the customers responsibility. Where possible and practical then we may, out our discretion, offer assistance with this. All cancellations must be informed to us, in writing (letter, fax or email), prior to the statutory cancellation period ending.

We recommend that all items sent back to us by customers, are sent via a recorded and insured method. ,We are unable to accept responsibility for any returns, items or repairs that are lost or damaged by the customers nominated carrier.

When a consumer returns the goods the consumer must take reasonable care to ensure that we receive the goods and that the goods are not damaged in transit. If the consumer does not exercise reasonable care and the goods are damaged, then we may make a claim against them for breach of this statutory duty.

We recommend that all returns are sent back by the customer using a tracked and insured method. We cannot accept responsibility for returns that are lost and/or damaged by the customers nominated carrier.


Delivery Charges, Shipping & Carriers

Delivery charges produced by this website are estimates only and may be subject to change. Certain delivery areas may also carry a surcharge. If delivery cannot be completed within the amounts originally paid then you will be contacted by a member of staff, who will offer to either cancel the order or accept a payment for the agreed surcharge.

Whilst we always aim to fulfill orders within specified times, we cannot be held responsible for delays in order deliveries arising as a result of issues with shipping carriers.

In the event of a loss or mis-delivery occuring during transit then we may need to complete the carriers investigation process prior to being able to offer any refund or replacement. This process can take up to 30 days and may involve the customer/buyer returning a completed claims form to us. Where this is required a claims form will be sent out by post, along with a postage paid returns envelope. Failure to complete and return a claims form within 14 days may result in the claim being void. Where items are missing, or have not arrived, then they must be reported to us within 14 days of our shipment notification being sent.
 

Extended Warranties
==============================
Extended warranties are offered on a goodwill basis and are subject to final approval. Extended warranties advertised on this site are offered on a 'blanket basis', however certain products may not elegible. We reserve the right to refuse the purchase of, or refund, an extended warranty, without explanation, on any item contained in our catalogue. If the extended warranty formed part of the original transaction then you have the right to cancel the purchase. All extended warranties are non-refundable once purchased.


Privacy Policy

Use of the website is subject to agreement of our seperate Privacy Policy, which is accessible via a link in the footer of every page on this website.


Repair, Programming Hire & Other Services
=======================
Please note that we are unable to cancel or refund services once work has commenced. Examples of services include Repair, Hire, Consultancy, Engineering, Programming and Assembly. Where these services form part of a contract containing the sale of goods then we may charge a fixed fee of £75 per hour of services already rendered, should the original contract of sale become cancelled. This amount is chargeable and may be deducted from any subsequent refund.

Radio programming is offered on a goodwill basis and is only offered on certain models. Our free programming service is limited in the features and number of channels which are able to be programmed - addditional features, channels, buttons or functions may be subject to an additional charge. For full details of supported models, frequencies, bands, functions and features please contact us prior to purchase.


Special Offers & Price Promise

All special offers, promotions, giveaways and 'free' bundled items are subject to stock, availability and are offered on a goodwill basis. Where a promotion is not available then you have the right to cancel your purchase within 7 days. All offers, promotions and giveaways are subject to change without notice.

Where a competitor offers a better 'like for like' price then, providing we are satisfied that the quote is genuine, we will always aim to beat that quote - by deducting double the difference from the competitors price. 'Like for like' pricing takes into consideration the dealers status, stock availablility, delivery service, returns policy item condition and age/iteration/version of the item. Please note that this offer only applies to 'like for like' pricing and excludes certain Special Offer and promotional items, the offer also only applies pre-purchase and cannot be claimed once a purchase has been made. Where a published/written offer is not 'like for like' then we reserve the right not to offer a 'double the difference' price, however we would still aim to beat the compeitors price. This offer applies to publicly published prices only, advertised on the resellers website on a page that is available via organic Google search results - however we may apply the offer to other prices or written quotations at our discretion. The price match/beat promise does not apply to items available on internet auction sites, items on stock liquidation/clearance sites, bankrupt/end of line stock or stock sold by suppliers who are not authorised/approved directly by the product manufacturer as certified dealers.


Stock Levels and Item Substitution

We endevour to keep stock information on this website as accurate as possible. Stock levels recorded against a product usually reflect physical stock held in our own warehouse, however on certain items ('ship direct) the stock levels shown may reflect those held by the supplier and/or manufacturer at their own warehouse. We reserve the right to ship items directly from suppliers, manufacturers, other re-sellers and alternative warehouses. This does not affect the amount of time it takes to receive your items. If you require confirmation on where your goods will originate from, then please contact our offices. Stock levels are shown as an estimation/guide only and, due to technical restrictions, we are unable to guarantee the accuracy of any stock level indicated on this website.

Where stock information contains an error, or where a certain shipping method is unavailable, then we reserve the right to substitute items and/or shipping services for an equivalent item/service. The service/item substitute offered will be equal, or greater than, in value to the goods/services originally specified, have equal (or more) features and be based on a lead time agreed within the original order. Where a customer does not wish to accept a substitute in the event of a substituted item then we will meet the cost of returning the substituted item. Items sent via an alternative carrier can be refused at the point of delivery, or cancelled prior to delivery by contacting our offices.
